Twitter @ Socialbakers

The Czech social media analytics web service Socialbakers has launched their official Twitter profile analytics service as a way to enter the broader social media analytics market. Socialbakers has focused almost exclusively on Facebook so far and plans to keep focused on the biggest social network in the world, but they are planning to broaden their offering, Twitter being the first step.

The Twitter profile statistics page offers a list of the most popular Twitter accounts in the world, which include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Barrack Obama and others. It does not include brand and media companies, although Socialbakers has confirmed they’ll be launching a separate list for them next week.

You can segment the Twitter profile list by the number of followers, the number the user is following as well as the number of tweets. Barack Obama’s Twitter profile follows over 600,000 people for example with over 9 million followers. If Socialbakers manages to segment brand and media Twitter profiles by country, it will make the service that much popular among social media professionals.
