Slovene-British startup Flaviar announced today that it raised a seed round of 400k $ from Speedinvest fund. This one year old company ships monthly tasting packs of 5 sample spirits (whisky, rum, gin, vodka, etc.) to their members, each month with a different theme.

According to Griša Šoba, founder and CEO of Flaviar, they will use the investment to strengthen their position in the EU market. Recently the startup customized its spirits tasting club for German speaking markets and they are planning to rock all over Europe by the next year.

Also, a new service called ‘Flaviar deals‘ will be launched soon, making Flaviar slowly switch to full bottle sales, where the real money is.

Cheers!
